About Us
My Testimony When it comes to work scripture is clear: Hebrews 13:5 (ESV) Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Thankfully God has NOT filled my wants and desires but graciously and abundantly met my needs. Growing up I loved to serve others because it felt good. Then I learned to serve others by loving God and it felt “Awesome!” They say hindsight is 20-20. Looking back over my life, I've seen the hand of God at work. Times when the Holy Spirit guided me, danced with me or comforted me. When I ran ahead of Him he waited patiently. Then time and again He came to my rescue. I thank God for introducing me to my wife Judy. He blesses her with the patience to overlook my short-comings. Over the years Judy has gone from provider, to homemaker and back again. She is now the full time provider of our family's income, allowing me to balance my work as House of M.A.N. with my ministry work as a deacon with the Anglican Network in Canada. I also thank God for the opportunity to fulfill my passion to serve the community through St. Aidan's Ministries and pastor a church plant called St. Aidan's at Rivers Bend here in Belle River. Our parent church is St. Aidan’s Anglican Church (ANiC) in Windsor. I’m not an theologian by any stretch of the imagination but if you have questions about “God stuff” I would count it a joy to share with you what I know and/or find the answers you seek. Anglicanism is my denomination - the “toolbox” I work from. My Faith is in my relationship with Jesus Christ. I don’t know where the saying originated but I heard it said that, “God wants spiritual fruit, not religious nuts.” To that end, I am not here to preach to you but simply let you know from Whom I derive my strength. Matthew 11:28 (ESV) Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. One of the greatest priviledges a Christian can have is to pray for someone in need. I am reminded of the words from the hymn What a Friend we have in Jesus: Are we weak and heavy-laden, Cumbered with a load of care? Precious Saviour, still our refuge— Take it to the Lord in prayer. May I pray for you? Soli Deo Gloria – To the Glory of God Alone
